The SaniChoice Training Package is targeted to professionals involved in teaching and capacity development in the water sector. It provides the key elements required to train future SaniChoice users: template sessions plans, presentations, exercises, quizzes and a case study group assignment. It is designed around three main components:
- A description of the challenge of citywide inclusive sanitation planning, the main motivation behind SaniChoice
- How to use SaniChoice as a tool
- How to plan with SaniChoice in the context of a strategic sanitation planning process
The training package contains four types of resources:
- TR: Training Resources are PowerPoint presentations including notes
- Q: Quizzes to be solved in a lecture setting
- E: Exercises to be solved individually or in groups
- V: Videos
